The refurbishment works on Szombathely–Szentgotthárd railway line 21 were completed at the end of 2011. During the refurbishment of the railway line section, the P+R car parks and B+R bicycle parks were not reconstructed, as GYSEV Zrt. wished to carry out their development and expansion as part of another project. Due to the railway line reconstructed in 2011, it became necessary to review the previously designed car parks and connecting roads in the vicinity of stations and stops and to prepare detailed designs, which FŐMTERV Zrt. was engaged for in 2012. The assignment included the preparation of comprehensive detailed designs, the obtaining of the required building permits and the preparation of documentation suitable for tendering.
